Our Sanctuary

The Sanctuary of our church is
typical of the Moravian Church not so much
in architecture as in function.
It is simple, bright and open yet warm and intimate.
The pulpit, the Bible, and the Communion Table are central
for we are a
Christ centered Church.
The Communion Table is on ground level, the level of the people,
and is always
out as a table not pushed against a wall as an alter.
This reminds us always of the Lords real presence among His people and
of
our being invited to partake of His grace. We as a church generally
have
Holy Communion seven times a year at appropriate special occasions
during the
Church year.

We feel that the clear glass
throughout the church reinforces our belief that we are witnesses
and we invite others to come and see what we do in Jesus' name.
It also serves to remind us that while we worship, study, and fellowship
together
there are opportunities for service and witness to those outside our
fellowship.
We must be inclusive and never exclusive in bringing persons
into a saving
knowledge and relationship with Jesus.
All of our services are open to all who would like to come and join us in
them.
